President Meloni meets with President of the Republic of Türkiye at UNGA
The President of the Council of Ministers, Giorgia Meloni, had a long and cordial meeting today with the President of the Republic of Türkiye, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. The meeting covered issues of common interest, starting with the war in Ukraine. President Erdoğan also talked about the Black Sea Grain Initiative. The commitment to strengthen cooperation with African nations on food security was also then discussed. The leaders also agreed on the importance of tackling migration in the Mediterranean with determination, by fighting human traffickers. It was also agreed to strengthen relations in the economic-trade field.

Misure per la famiglia e la natalità, incontro a Palazzo Chigi
Si è tenuto oggi a Palazzo Chigi un incontro tra il Governo e il network “Ditelo sui tetti”, che riunisce circa cento associazioni di area cattolica, guidato dall’avv. Domenico Menorello. Per l’esecutivo erano presenti i Ministri dell’Economia e finanze Giancarlo Giorgetti, con il Vice Ministro Maurizio Leo, del Lavoro e politiche sociali Marina Elvira Calderone, con il Vice Ministro Maria Teresa Bellucci, dell’Istruzione e del merito Giuseppe Valditara, della Famiglia Eugenia Roccella, della Pubblica Amministrazione Paolo Zangrillo, il Sottosegretario alla Salute Marcello Gemmato, e il Sottosegretario alla Presidenza del Consiglio dei ministri, Alfredo Mantovano.

Nomina del Commissario straordinario di governo per il territorio del Comune di Caivano
Il Sottosegretario alla Presidenza del Consiglio, Alfredo Mantovano, ha firmato il DPCM di nomina del dottor Fabio Ciciliano a Commissario straordinario di governo per fronteggiare le situazioni di degrado, vulnerabilità sociale e disagio giovanile nel territorio del Comune di Caivano.

Special government commissioner appointed for the area of Caivano
Undersecretary of State to the Presidency of the Council of Ministers Alfredo Mantovano has signed a DPCM (Decree of the President of the Council of Ministers) to appoint Fabio Ciciliano as Special government commissioner to tackle situations of degradation, social vulnerability and youth problems in the Municipality of Caivano.

CONTRASTO ALL’IMMIGRAZIONE ILLEGALE
Il Consiglio dei ministri ha deliberato alcune modifiche e integrazioni al decreto-legge per il rafforzamento economico del Mezzogiorno, già esaminato nella seduta del 7 settembre scorso. Le integrazioni riguardano, tra l’altro, norme relative al contrasto all’immigrazione illegale.
