President Meloni in Palermo on anniversary of Via D'Amelio bombing
The President of the Council of Ministers, Giorgia Meloni, attended today’s wreath-laying ceremony at the commemorative plaque in memory of Judges Falcone and Borsellino and the agents who also lost their lives in the two bombings. She later addressed journalists at a doorstep.

President Meloni in Palermo on anniversary of Via D'Amelio bombing
The President of the Council of Ministers, Giorgia Meloni, attended today’s wreath-laying ceremony at the commemorative plaque in memory of Judges Falcone and Borsellino and the agents who also lost their lives in the two bombings, after which she visited the Santa Maria di Gesù cemetery and the Church of San Domenico, where the judges are buried. President Meloni went on to chair a Public Order and Security Committee meeting at the Prefecture before addressing journalists at a doorstep.

President Meloni in Brussels for third EU-CELAC summit
The President of the Council of Ministers, Giorgia Meloni, in Brussels for the third EU-CELAC summit.
Earlier today, in the margins of the summit, President Meloni had bilateral meetings with the President of the Argentine Republic, Alberto Ángel Fernández, and with the President of the Eastern Republic of Uruguay, Luis Lacalle Pou.
Yesterday evening, she met with the Secretary General of NATO, Jens Stoltenberg.

Proficuo il primo giorno di confronto con le associazioni datoriali convocate per una riunione della Cabina di regia del PNRR che si è svolta a Palazzo Chigi, presieduta dal Ministro per gli affari europei, il Sud, le politiche di coesione e il PNRR, Raffaele Fitto. Gli incontri, suddivisi per specifiche sessioni organizzate su base settoriale, hanno visto sedersi al tavolo prima i rappresentanti di Confindustria, Ance, Confedilizia, Abi, Ania; poi Coldiretti, Confagricoltura, Cia, Unsic e Copagri; e al terzo tavolo i rappresentanti di Federterziario, Confetra, Confeservizi, Confprofessioni, Assoprofessioni.

New NRRP steering committee meeting held at Palazzo Chigi. Minister Fitto: fruitful dialogue, we are working on the Plan’s overall definition
A fruitful first day of discussions was held today with employers’ associations, who were invited to a National Recovery and Resilience Plan (NRRP) steering committee meeting at Palazzo Chigi, chaired by Minister for European Affairs, Southern Italy, Cohesion Policy and the NRRP Raffaele Fitto. The discussions were divided into sector-specific sessions, with the first being attended by representatives of Confindustria, Ance, Confedilizia, Abi and Ania; the second by representatives of Coldiretti, Confagricoltura, Cia, Unsic and Copagri; and, the third by representatives of Federterziario, Confetra, Confeservizi, Confprofessioni and Assoprofessioni.

Approvato emendamento governo su amministrazione straordinaria grandi imprese di interesse strategico nazionale
È stato approvato oggi dalla 4° Commissione “Politiche dell’Unione europea” del Senato, in sede di conversione del decreto – legge n. 69 del 2023 (c.d. decreto – legge salva infrazioni), un emendamento del Governo in materia di amministrazione straordinaria delle grandi imprese, che riguarda stabilimenti industriali, o parti di essi, dichiarati di interesse strategico nazionale.
