Telephone conversation with the President of the Republic of Tunisia
The President of the Council of Ministers, Giorgia Meloni, had a telephone conversation today with the President of the Republic of Tunisia, Kais Saied. The conversation focused on bilateral relations, also in the energy and investment sectors, and Italy’s continued support for Tunisia in its negotiations with the International Monetary Fund and in the management of migration flows.
The President of the Council of Ministers accepted President Saied’s invitation to visit Tunis soon.

President Meloni attends Republic Day celebrations
On the occasion of Italian Republic Day, the President of the Council of Ministers, Giorgia Meloni, attended the ceremony in Rome where the President of the Republic laid a wreath at the Altare della Patria monument. She then attended the traditional military parade in via dei Fori Imperiali.

Palazzo Chigi lit up with Italian tricolour on Republic Day
To mark Republic Day, Palazzo Chigi’s main façade, overlooking Piazza Colonna, will be lit up with the colours of the Italian tricolour on 2 June, from 00:01 am to sunrise and then from dusk until 11:59 p.m. The Italian flag and European flag will also be flown from the flagpoles at the window of the Council of Ministers meeting room, overlooking via del Corso.

Incontro Governo - Corte dei conti a Palazzo Chigi
Si è svolto oggi a Palazzo Chigi un lungo e cordiale incontro tra i vertici della Corte dei conti (rappresentata dal presidente Guido Carlino, dal presidente aggiunto Tommaso Miele, dal procuratore generale Angelo Canale e dal segretario generale Franco Massi), il ministro degli Affari Europei, Raffaele Fitto, il sottosegretario alla Presidenza del Consiglio, Alfredo Mantovano e il segretario generale di Palazzo Chigi, Carlo Deodato. Nell'incontro sono stati affrontati i temi legati all'attuazione del Pnrr, all'utilizzo del Fondo complementare, all'attività di controllo della Corte dei conti.
