Il Consiglio dei Ministri è convocato lunedì 30 gennaio, alle ore 18.30, a Palazzo Chigi, per l’esame del seguente ordine del giorno:
- INFORMATIVA dei ministri degli affari esteri e della cooperazione internazionale, dell’interno e della giustizia sul caso Cospito (AFFARI ESTERI E COOPERAZIONE INTERNAZIONALE – INTERNO – GIUSTIZIA);
- LEGGI REGIONALI;
- VARIE ED EVENTUALI.

Nota di Palazzo Chigi
Gli attentati compiuti contro la nostra diplomazia ad Atene, Barcellona e Berlino, come pure quello di Torino, le violenze di piazza a Roma e Trento, i proiettili indirizzati al direttore del Tirreno e al procuratore generale Francesco Saluzzo, la molotov contro un commissariato di Polizia: azioni del genere non intimidiranno le istituzioni. Tanto meno se l'obiettivo è quello di far allentare il regime detentivo più duro per i responsabili di atti terroristici. Lo Stato non scende a patti con chi minaccia.

Statement by Palazzo Chigi
The attacks against our diplomatic representations in Athens, Barcelona and Berlin, and likewise the one in Turin, the violence on the streets of Rome and Trento, the bullets addressed to the director of the ‘Tirreno’ newspaper and to chief prosecutor Francesco Saluzzo, the Molotov cocktail thrown at a police station: such actions will not intimidate the institutions, even less so if the aim is a relaxation of the toughest prison regime for perpetrators of terrorist acts. The State does not compromise with those who make treats.

President Meloni in Libya
The President of the Council of Ministers, Giorgia Meloni, visited Libya today, together with the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Antonio Tajani, and the Minister of the Interior, Matteo Piantedosi, for an Italian Government mission in the North African country. They were welcomed to Tripoli airport by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Libyan Government of National Unity, Najla Al Mangoush. President Meloni went on to meet with the Prime Minister of the Libyan Government of National Unity, Abdel Hamid al-Dabaiba, with whom she issued statements to the press.

President Meloni and Ministers Tajani and Piantedosi travelled to Tripoli, Libya, today, for an Italian Government mission in the North African country. During the visit, President Meloni met with the Prime Minister of the Libyan Government of National Unity, Abdel Hamid al-Dabaiba, with whom she issued statements to the press. President Meloni later met with the President of the Presidential Council of the State of Libya, Mohammed Yunis Ahmed Al-Menfi.

Statement by President of the Council of Ministers Giorgia Meloni
“I have expressed mine and the Italian Government’s solidarity with the First Counsellor at the Italian Embassy in Berlin, Luigi Estero, following the attack that caused his car to catch fire in the German capital. This episode is in addition to the acts of vandalism that have targeted our Consulate General in Barcelona. The Government is closely following these new cases of violence against our officials and diplomatic representations with concern”.
