European Council: President Meloni expresses satisfaction with agreements reached

President of the Council of Ministers Giorgia Meloni welcomes, with great satisfaction, the agreement reached with the adoption, through written procedure, of the package regarding minimum taxation for multinationals, macro-financial assistance to Ukraine with an EU budget guarantee, and the approval of Hungary’s recovery and resilience plan. “Managing to untie such an important political knot is, I believe, a great success. I had fruitful discussions with the Prime Ministers of Poland and the Czech Republic this morning – underlined President Meloni –, a decisive meeting which in fact unblocked the situation.”
