The Minister for European Affairs, Southern Italy, Cohesion Policy and the NRRP, Raffaele Fitto, met with the European Commissioner for Economy, Paolo Gentiloni, in Brussels today.
The meeting focused on the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (‘NRRP’) and, in particular, the European Commission’s ongoing assessment in view of the disbursement of the third instalment for Italy.
In this regard, Minister Fitto and Commissioner Gentiloni examined the objectives that are still being discussed between the Italian Government and the Commission services in charge.
The meeting went on to focus on the prospects of integrating Italy’s NRRP in light of the possibilities offered by REPowerEU.
