The Minister for European Affairs, Southern Italy, Cohesion Policy and the NRRP, Raffaele Fitto, met today with the Hungarian Minister of Justice and European Affairs, Judit Varga, in Rome.
The meeting focused on the main issues currently on the European agenda, with particular regard to Ukraine, energy security, the reform of the European Union’s economic governance, migration and enlargement. The meeting also provided the opportunity for an initial exchange of views on the Hungarian Presidency of the Council of the European Union in the second half of 2024.
Minister Fitto and Minister Varga also discussed the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (‘NRRP’) and cohesion policy.
