The President of the Council of Ministers, Giorgia Meloni, had a telephone conversation today with the President of the Republic of Tunisia, Kais Saied. The call focused on bilateral relations and the management of migration flows in light of the emergency that continues to affect both countries.
There was agreement on the need to keep increasing efforts across the board to strengthen the fight against illegal migration. President Meloni assured continued support for the Tunisian authorities both from Italy and in the European context.
