The Government meets with trade unions and representatives of Armed Forces, Police Forces and Fire Brigade personnel

The President of the Council of Ministers, Giorgia Meloni, and the relevant ministers had a long and in-depth meeting at Palazzo Chigi today with trade unions and representatives of Armed Forces, Police Forces and Fire Brigade personnel.
The meeting was attended by Minister of Infrastructure and Transport Matteo Salvini, Minister of the Interior Matteo Piantedosi, Minister of Justice Carlo Nordio, Minister of Defence Guido Crosetto, Minister of Economy and Finance Giancarlo Giorgetti, Minister for Public Administration Paolo Zangrillo and Undersecretary of State to the Presidency of the Council of Ministers Alfredo Mantovano.
During the meeting, President Meloni and the Ministers present expressed their gratitude for the commendable work carried out every day, both in Italy and abroad, by those working in defence, public security and emergency services, and illustrated the measures that have been adopted for this sector as well as those to be examined by the Council of Ministers.
The trade union representatives and representatives of Armed Forces, Police Forces and Fire Brigade personnel expressed their appreciation for and satisfaction with the measures outlined and the level of attention and dialogue confirmed by the Government.

The meeting was also attended by representatives from all sections of the Armed Forces’ Central Committee of Representation (COCER).
