President Meloni’s telephone conversation with President Erdoğan of Türkiye

The President of the Council of Ministers, Giorgia Meloni, had a telephone conversation today with the President of the Republic of Türkiye, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.

In view of the upcoming G7 Summit, the conversation provided an opportunity to also discuss the status of bilateral relations and the main international crisis scenarios.

President Meloni took the opportunity to thank President Erdoğan for confirming his participation in the G7 Summit to be held at Borgo Egnazia, in Italy’s Apulia Region.
