President Meloni meets with Secretary of the CPC Shanghai Municipal Committee

The President of the Council of Ministers, Giorgia Meloni, met with the Secretary of the Shanghai Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of China, Chen Jining, in Shanghai today.

The meeting focused on economic and trade relations with the Province of Shanghai, which is home to the largest Italian business community.

President Meloni and Shanghai Party Secretary Chen Jining both expressed the desire to boost cooperation in key sectors such as industry, innovation, tourism and culture. They particularly focused on reciprocal investments being supported and consolidated, starting with small and medium-sized enterprises.
