Il Presidente del Consiglio dei Ministri, Giorgia Meloni, ha partecipato alla cerimonia di deposizione di una Corona d’Alloro all’Altare della Patria da parte del Presidente della Repubblica, Sergio Mattarella, in occasione della Giornata dell’Unità Nazionale e delle Forze Armate.

Il Presidente del Consiglio, Giorgia Meloni, ha incontrato a Bruxelles la Presidente del Parlamento europeo Roberta Metsola, la Presidente della Commissione europea Ursula von der Leyen e il Presidente del Consiglio europeo Charles Michel. Al termine ha tenuto un punto stampa.

The President of the Council of Ministers, Giorgia Meloni, had a telephone conversation today with the Prime Minister of the Republic of Poland, Mateusz Morawiecki. During the call, President Meloni and Prime Minister Morawiecki discussed the major challenges facing the European Union, including Russia’s aggression against Ukraine, energy security, European economic governance and migration. President Meloni and Prime Minister Morawiecki reaffirmed their willingness to work together to ensure more effective impetus in the process of strengthening the European Union, and to consolidate bilateral relations between Rome and Warsaw.

The President of the Council of Ministers, Giorgia Meloni, had a telephone conversation today with the Prime Minister of Japan, Fumio Kishida. The Japanese Prime Minister congratulated President Meloni on her appointment as President of the Council of Ministers and confirmed the common interest in further strengthening the existing partnership between Italy and Japan.

The President of the Council of Ministers, Giorgia Meloni, had a telephone conversation today with the President of the Government of the Kingdom of Spain, Pedro Sánchez. President Meloni and President Sánchez underlined the cooperation between Italy and Spain on the major issues at the top of the European and international agenda, including the issue of energy in light of the conclusions of the last European Council meeting, collaboration within NATO, European economic governance and migration. The two leaders also shared the importance of ensuring close attention to the challenges stemming from the world’s South.
