President of the Council of Ministers Meloni meets with President Macron in Rome
The President of the Council of Ministers, Giorgia Meloni, had a cordial and fruitful meeting with the President of the French Republic, Emmanuel Macron, this evening, which lasted for more than one hour. Although it was an informal meeting, the two leaders discussed all the main European issues: the need for rapid and common responses to high energy prices, support for Ukraine, the difficult economic situation and the management of migration flows.
President Meloni and President Macron agreed on the willingness to continue cooperation on major common challenges at European level, while respecting each other’s national interests.

Il Presidente Meloni incontra a Roma il Presidente Macron
Cordiale e proficuo confronto, di oltre un'ora, tra il Presidente del Consiglio Giorgia Meloni e il Presidente della Repubblica francese Emmanuel Macron. Nel corso del colloquio, seppur informale, sono stati discussi tutti i principali dossier europei: la necessità di dare risposte veloci e comuni sul caro energia, il sostegno all’Ucraina, la difficile congiuntura economica, la gestione dei flussi migratori.
I Presidenti Meloni e Macron hanno convenuto sulla volontà di proseguire con una collaborazione sulle grandi sfide comuni a livello europeo e nel rispetto dei reciproci interessi nazionali.
