Si è insediata questa mattina a Palazzo Chigi la Cabina di coordinamento delle politiche attive per la riduzione della vulnerabilità sismica degli edifici pubblici, alla presenza del Sottosegretario alla Presidenza Alfredo Mantovano e del Ministro per la protezione civile e le politiche del mare, Nello Musumeci.

The President of the Council of Ministers, Giorgia Meloni, attended the European Council meeting in Brussels, after which she addressed journalists at a press point.

Fighting drugs and pathological addictions is a top priority of this Government. Ever since coming to office, we have been working, with perseverance and determination, to reiterate a number of clear messages that have been forgotten for too long: drugs destroy people’s lives, enslaving them and making them powerless; all drugs, without distinction, are harmful and to claim otherwise is deception, with this particularly affecting the younger generations; the Government and institutions, at all levels, must not look the other way, but must rather do everything in their power to combat drug trafficking and dealing, invest in prevention, and support public services and treatment communities in their irreplaceable work to provide care and rehabilitation.

La lotta alla droga e alle dipendenze patologiche è una priorità assoluta di questo Governo. Fin dal nostro insediamento, siamo al lavoro, con costanza e determinazione, per ribadire alcuni messaggi chiari, per troppo tempo dimenticati: la droga distrugge la vita delle persone e le rende schiave e succubi; tutte le droghe fanno male, senza distinzioni, e sostenere il contrario è un inganno, che colpisce in particolare le giovani generazioni; il Governo e le Istituzioni, ad ogni livello, non devono voltarsi dall'altra parte ma fare tutto quello che è nelle loro possibilità per combattere il traffico di droga e lo spaccio, investire nella prevenzione e sostenere i servizi pubblici e le comunità terapeutiche nella loro insostituibile azione di cura e recupero.
