The European Commission’s announcement on the withdrawal of the legislative proposal on pesticides is also an Italian victory. Ever since coming to office, the Italian Government has, in fact, been working at European level, with a very pragmatic and common-sense approach, to chart a different path from the one that has been followed thus far and combine agricultural production, respect for work and environmental sustainability.
