Joint meeting of institutional working group and coordination committee for the Jubilee 2025
A joint meeting of the institutional working group and the coordination committee for the Jubilee of 2025 was held today at Palazzo Chigi, chaired by Undersecretary to the Presidency of the Council of Ministers Alfredo Mantovano. At the beginning of the meeting, the Mayor of Rome and the Government’s Special Commissioner for the Jubilee 2025, Roberto Gualtieri, illustrated the detailed works schedule and the progress of projects. During the meeting, the need to immediately launch all technical working groups was also highlighted and it was announced that a second DPCM [Decree of the President of the Council of Ministers] is in the process of being formalised, following the one approved last December.

Water crisis: first steering committee meeting held
The first meeting of the water crisis steering committee that was established by Decree Law no. 39/2023 (the so-called ‘Drought Decree Law’), approved on 14 April this year, was held at Palazzo Chigi today. During the meeting, it was decided to prioritise measures that can help solve the most urgent problems, even if these may not be in an advanced stage of planning. As requested by the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport and the Ministry of the Environment and Energy Security, a review of requests from local areas was therefore launched. In this regard, initial measures have already been identified in five regions (Lombardy; Piedmont; Veneto; Emilia-Romagna; Lazio) for a total investment of EUR 102,030,000, made available by the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport.

Riunione congiunta del Tavolo istituzionale e della Cabina di Coordinamento Giubileo 2025
Si è svolta oggi a Palazzo Chigi la riunione congiunta del Tavolo istituzionale e della Cabina di Coordinamento Giubileo 2025, presieduta dal Sottosegretario alla Presidenza del Consiglio, Alfredo Mantovano. L’incontro si è aperto con l’illustrazione da parte del Sindaco di Roma Capitale e Commissario straordinario del Governo al Giubileo 2025, Roberto Gualtieri, del programma dettagliato delle opere e dello stato di avanzamento dei progetti. Durante la riunione è stata anche evidenziata la necessità di avviare subito tutti i tavoli tecnici ed è stato annunciato che è in via di formalizzazione il secondo Dpcm, dopo quello approvato lo scorso mese di dicembre.

Crisi idrica, la prima riunione della Cabina di regia
Durante l’incontro è stato stabilito di dare priorità a quegli interventi che, anche se non in fase di progettazione avanzata, possano contribuire alla risoluzione dei problemi più urgenti, ed è stata quindi avviata, su richiesta del MIT e del MASE, la ricognizione delle richieste provenienti dai territori. In tal senso, sono stati già individuati i primi interventi in 5 regioni: Lombardia; Piemonte; Veneto; Emilia Romagna e Lazio, per un investimento complessivo di 102.030.000 Euro messi a disposizione dal MIT.
