President of the Council of Ministers Giorgia Meloni met at Palazzo Chigi today with LinkedIn founder Reid Hoffman, who has become one of the world’s leading experts on the development of artificial intelligence.
The meeting covered the opportunities and risks of artificial intelligence, with a particular focus on its effects on the world of work and impact on economies, the future of democracies and major ethical issues, and the consequent need to govern future changes avoiding having to endure them.
This issue is being addressed at multilateral level and will be of key importance during Italy’s G7 Presidency next year, underlining that people and their identities, including their spiritual identities, must always remain at the heart of everything.
