Meeting with the Secretary of Commerce of the United States of America

The President of the Council of Ministers, Giorgia Meloni, received the Secretary of Commerce of the United States of America, Gina Raimondo, at Palazzo Chigi today.

The meeting focused on discussing respective strategies and initiatives in technological and industrial areas of priority interest, starting with semiconductors and applications of artificial intelligence. Opportunities to strengthen mutual investments were also discussed. Lastly, the meeting provided an opportunity for an update on the main goals of the Italian G7 Presidency.
