Gender equality: approval of amendment already contained in decree law 57/2023. Government expresses satisfaction with the work carried out with the opposition
The Government expresses its satisfaction with the work carried out by the Chamber of Deputies Constitutional Affairs Committee and Budget Committee in examining Draft Law no. 51/2023. The majority and opposition parties worked together to approve the rewording of an amendment by the opposition which, by adopting the provisions of a government proposal submitted for the same draft law, made the regulations introduced by article 2 of decree law 57/2023 definitive.

During the Council of Ministers meeting on 15 June 2023, as per the proposal by the Ministry of Enterprises and Made in Italy, the Government ordered for the special ‘golden power’ to be exercised for the transaction subject to notification by China National Tire and Rubber Corporation, Ltd., regarding the shareholders’ agreement on the governance of the company Pirelli & C. S.p.A.
