Il 9 maggio di 45 anni fa, cinquantacinque giorni dopo il suo sequestro e la strage di via Fani, le Brigate Rosse uccisero Aldo Moro. Il terrorismo toccò il suo punto più alto di aggressione allo Stato, colpendo al cuore le Istituzioni democratiche e scrivendo una delle pagine più cupe della storia della nostra Repubblica. Il barbaro assassinio di Moro ferì profondamente la Nazione e ne lacerò il tessuto sociale, ma il popolo italiano seppe reagire mostrando unità e coesione...

Il Presidente del Consiglio, Giogia Meloni, parteciperà alla Cerimonia per il Giorno della Memoria dedicato alle vittime del terrorismo che si terrà a Palazzo del Quirinale.

A joint meeting of the institutional working group and the coordination committee for the Jubilee of 2025 was held today at Palazzo Chigi, chaired by Undersecretary to the Presidency of the Council of Ministers Alfredo Mantovano. At the beginning of the meeting, the Mayor of Rome and the Government’s Special Commissioner for the Jubilee 2025, Roberto Gualtieri, illustrated the detailed works schedule and the progress of projects. During the meeting, the need to immediately launch all technical working groups was also highlighted and it was announced that a second DPCM [Decree of the President of the Council of Ministers] is in the process of being formalised, following the one approved last December.

The first meeting of the water crisis steering committee that was established by Decree Law no. 39/2023 (the so-called ‘Drought Decree Law’), approved on 14 April this year, was held at Palazzo Chigi today. During the meeting, it was decided to prioritise measures that can help solve the most urgent problems, even if these may not be in an advanced stage of planning. As requested by the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport and the Ministry of the Environment and Energy Security, a review of requests from local areas was therefore launched. In this regard, initial measures have already been identified in five regions (Lombardy; Piedmont; Veneto; Emilia-Romagna; Lazio) for a total investment of EUR 102,030,000, made available by the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport.
