Council of Ministers meeting no. 2 was held this afternoon at Palazzo Chigi. Following the meeting, the President of the Council of Ministers, Giorgia Meloni, held a press conference together with Minister of the Interior Matteo Piantedosi, Minister of Justice Carlo Nordio, Minister of Health Orazio Schillaci and Undersecretary to the Presidency of the Council of Ministers Alfredo Mantovano, to illustrate the measures approved.

The President of the Council of Ministers, Giorgia Meloni, attended the COP27 summit in Sharm el-Sheikh (Egypt) on 6 and 7 November. After participating in the ‘Sharm El-Sheikh Climate Implementation Summit’ opening ceremony and round table on ‘Just Transition’, President Meloni delivered a speech at the Plenary Session.

The swearing-in ceremony for the Undersecretaries of the Meloni Government was held this morning at Palazzo Chigi.

The President of the Council of Ministers, Giorgia Meloni, met with the President of the European Parliament, Roberta Metsola, the President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, and the President of the European Council, Charles Michel, in Brussels today. Following the meetings, she addressed journalists at a doorstep.
