Ukraine – Phone call between President Meloni and US President Biden
The President of the Council of Ministers, Giorgia Meloni, had a telephone conversation today with President Joe Biden of the United States of America. President Biden called President Meloni just after he returned to Poland following his surprise visit to Kyiv. The two leaders discussed their ongoing close coordination on support for Ukraine, including security, economic and humanitarian assistance.

Ucraina, colloquio telefonico Meloni - Biden
Il Presidente del Consiglio, Giorgia Meloni, ha avuto un colloquio telefonico con il Presidente degli Stati Uniti, Joe Biden. Il Presidente USA ha chiamato Meloni appena rientrato in Polonia, dopo la visita a sorpresa a Kiev. I due leader hanno discusso del loro stretto coordinamento in corso sul sostegno all'Ucraina, compresa l'assistenza in materia di sicurezza, economica e umanitaria.

Emergenza Ucraina, predisposto l'invio di ingenti quantità di materiale elettrico
Il gruppo di lavoro “emergenza elettrica Ucraina”, voluto fortemente dal Presidente del Consiglio Giorgia Meloni, coordinato dai Sottosegretari Alfredo Mantovano e Giovanbattista Fazzolari, con la partecipazione dei Ministeri degli Affari Esteri e Cooperazione Internazionale, della Difesa, dell’Ambiente e della Sicurezza Energetica, delle Imprese e del Made in Italy ed insieme al Dipartimento della Protezione Civile e al gestore della rete elettrica nazionale Terna, ha predisposto l’invio di materiale elettrico in Ucraina in questi giorni per un valore di diversi milioni di euro.

Cessione del credito correlata ai bonus edilizi, incontri a Palazzo Chigi
Al termine degli incontri svolti oggi a Palazzo Chigi, sentito il Presidente Giorgia Meloni, il Ministro Giancarlo Giorgetti conferma, unitamente al Sottosegretario Alfredo Mantovano, al ministro Gilberto Pichetto Fratin e agli altri esponenti di Governo presenti, la ferma determinazione a porre rimedio agli effetti negativi della cessione del credito correlata ai bonus edilizi. Partendo dal decreto legge approvato lo scorso 16 febbraio, il Governo ribadisce il suo impegno a trovare le soluzioni più adeguate per quelle imprese del settore edilizio che hanno agito correttamente nel rispetto delle norme.

President Meloni in Warsaw
The President of the Council of Ministers, Giorgia Meloni, visited Warsaw today. In the afternoon, she and Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki issued statements to the press and, in the evening, President Meloni met with the President of the Republic of Poland, Andrzej Duda.

Large amounts of electrical equipment to be sent to Ukraine
The ‘Ukraine electricity emergency’ working group, which was strongly desired by President of the Council of Ministers Giorgia Meloni, has arranged for electrical equipment worth millions of euro to arrive in Ukraine over the coming days. The working group is coordinated by Undersecretaries of State Alfredo Mantovano and Giovanbattista Fazzolari and is made up of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, the Ministry of Defence, the Ministry of the Environment and Energy Security and the Ministry of Enterprises and Made in Italy, together with the Civil Protection Department and Terna, Italy’s national electricity grid operator.

Dichiarazione del Presidente Giorgia Meloni
Nelle ultime ore è stato minacciato di morte il Ministro Nordio ed è stata imbrattata la sede della Rappresentanza italiana presso l’UE a Bruxelles con scritte inneggianti a Cospito. Solidarietà al Guardasigilli e al personale della sede. Lo Stato è al loro fianco e non arretra.

Statement by President of the Council of Ministers Giorgia Meloni
Over the last few hours, Minister of Justice Nordio has received a death threat and the headquarters of the Italian Permanent Representation to the EU in Brussels has been defaced with words in support of convicted anarchist Alfredo Cospito. I wish to express solidarity with the Minister of Justice and all members of staff at the headquarters. The State is by their side and will not back down.

Press conference following Council of Ministers meeting no. 21
Council of Ministers meeting no. 21 was held at Palazzo Chigi today. Following the meeting, the Vice-President of the Council of Ministers and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Antonio Tajani, Undersecretary to the Presidency of the Council of Ministers Alfredo Mantovano, Minister for European Affairs, Southern Italy, Cohesion Policy and the NRRP Raffaele Fitto and Minister of Economy and Finance Giancarlo Giorgetti held a press conference to illustrate the measures approved.
