President Meloni meets with the Presidents of the Lazio and Lombardy Regions
The President of the Council of Ministers, Giorgia Meloni, met today with the President of the Lazio Region, Francesco Rocca, and with the President of the Lombardy Region, Attilio Fontana, who paid a courtesy visit to Palazzo Chigi. President Meloni wished them both all the best in their work.

Si è tenuta a Palazzo Chigi la terza riunione della Cabina di Coordinamento Giubileo 2025, presieduta dal Sottosegretario alla Presidenza del Consiglio, Alfredo Mantovano, presenti tra gli altri il Ministro del Turismo Daniela Santanché, il Sindaco di Roma Capitale e Commissario straordinario del Governo al Giubileo 2025 Roberto Gualtieri, il Pro-prefetto del Dicastero per l’Evangelizzazione della Santa Sede mons. Rino Fisichella.

Third meeting of the Jubilee 2025 coordination committee held at Palazzo Chigi
The third meeting of the coordination committee for the Jubilee of 2025 was held at Palazzo Chigi today. The meeting, chaired by Undersecretary to the Presidency of the Council of Ministers Alfredo Mantovano, was attended, among others, by the Minister of Tourism, Daniela Santanché, the Mayor of Rome and the Government’s Special Commissioner for the Jubilee 2025, Roberto Gualtieri, and Pro-Prefect of the Holy See's Dicastery for Evangelization Monsignor Rino Fisichella.

2° anniversario dell’uccisione dell’Ambasciatore Attanasio: dichiarazione del Presidente Meloni
Sono trascorsi due anni dall’attentato nel quale hanno perso la vita l’Ambasciatore d’Italia nella Repubblica Democratica del Congo Luca Attanasio, il carabiniere scelto Vittorio Iacovacci e l’autista del Programma Alimentare Mondiale Mustapha Milambo. Ricordare Luca Attanasio e Vittorio Iacovacci non è solo un dovere istituzionale, ma un atto di giustizia e di amore. Verso le loro famiglie e i loro cari, che più di qualunque altro piangono la loro scomparsa e che possono contare sul sostegno delle Istituzioni per conoscere la verità su quei tragici fatti.

President Meloni’s statement on second anniversary of the killing of Ambassador Attanasio
Two years have passed since the attack in which Italian Ambassador to the Democratic Republic of the Congo Luca Attanasio, Carabiniere Scelto Vittorio Iacovacci and World Food Programme driver Mustapha Milambo lost their lives. Remembering Luca Attanasio and Vittorio Iacovacci is not only an institutional duty, but also an act of justice and of love: towards their families and loved ones who, more than anyone else, mourn their passing and can count on the support of the institutions to learn the truth behind the tragedy; towards our nation, which proudly pays tribute to the sacrifice of those two men who served the State and were killed while fulfilling their duties; towards the future generations, so they may be inspired by Luca and Vittorio along their own personal and professional paths.

President Meloni in Kyiv
The President of the Council of Ministers, Giorgia Meloni, met this afternoon with the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, in Kyiv. Following the signing ceremony for the Joint Declaration between Italy and Ukraine, the two leaders held a press conference. President Meloni went on to pay tribute to Ukraine’s fallen, laying a wreath at the wall of remembrance. This morning, President Meloni visited St. Andrew’s Orthodox Church in Bucha and the places worst hit by the bombings in the city of Irpin.

Il Presidente Meloni a Kiev
Il Presidente del Consiglio, Giorgia Meloni, ha incontrato questo pomeriggio a Kiev il Presidente Volodymyr Zelensky, con il quale ha tenuto una conferenza stampa al termine della cerimonia di firma della Dichiarazione congiunta Italia-Ucraina. Successivamente, il Presidente Meloni ha reso omaggio al Muro del Ricordo dei Caduti per l’Ucraina con la deposizione di una corona di fiori. Nel corso della mattinata, le visite alla Chiesa Ortodossa di Sant'Andrea di Bucha e ai luoghi più colpiti dai bombardamenti della città di Irpin.

Ukraine – Phone call between President Meloni and US President Biden
The President of the Council of Ministers, Giorgia Meloni, had a telephone conversation today with President Joe Biden of the United States of America. President Biden called President Meloni just after he returned to Poland following his surprise visit to Kyiv. The two leaders discussed their ongoing close coordination on support for Ukraine, including security, economic and humanitarian assistance.

Il Presidente del Consiglio, Giorgia Meloni, ha avuto un colloquio telefonico con il Presidente degli Stati Uniti, Joe Biden. Il Presidente USA ha chiamato Meloni appena rientrato in Polonia, dopo la visita a sorpresa a Kiev. I due leader hanno discusso del loro stretto coordinamento in corso sul sostegno all'Ucraina, compresa l'assistenza in materia di sicurezza, economica e umanitaria.

Emergenza Ucraina, predisposto l'invio di ingenti quantità di materiale elettrico
Il gruppo di lavoro “emergenza elettrica Ucraina”, voluto fortemente dal Presidente del Consiglio Giorgia Meloni, coordinato dai Sottosegretari Alfredo Mantovano e Giovanbattista Fazzolari, con la partecipazione dei Ministeri degli Affari Esteri e Cooperazione Internazionale, della Difesa, dell’Ambiente e della Sicurezza Energetica, delle Imprese e del Made in Italy ed insieme al Dipartimento della Protezione Civile e al gestore della rete elettrica nazionale Terna, ha predisposto l’invio di materiale elettrico in Ucraina in questi giorni per un valore di diversi milioni di euro.
