Conversazione telefonica tra il Presidente del Consiglio dei Ministri Giorgia Meloni e il Cancelliere della Repubblica Federale di Germania Olaf Scholz. Entrambi hanno posto l’accento sulla forte partnership tra Italia e Germania. Al centro del colloquio la guerra in Ucraina. Meloni ha ricordato l’impegno dell’Italia nel sostegno a Kiev sul fronte politico, militare, economico e umanitario e consapevole di come la ricostruzione dell'Ucraina rappresenti un aspetto cruciale. Meloni e Scholz hanno poi affrontato il dossier energetico, alla luce delle conclusioni dell’ultimo Consiglio europeo. Il Presidente Meloni ha ribadito l’importanza dei passi avanti compiuti a livello europeo e ha ribadito l’urgenza di arrivare, quanto prima, a misure concrete per ridurre i prezzi dell’energia. Nel corso della conversazione Meloni e Scholz hanno, infine, affrontato i dossier relativi alla gestione europea dei flussi migratori e il tema della crescita economica.

Phone call between President of the Council of Ministers Giorgia Meloni and President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky
The President of the Council of Ministers, Giorgia Meloni, had a telephone conversation today with the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky. President Meloni renewed the Italian Government’s full support for Kyiv within the framework of international alliances, in political, military, economic and humanitarian terms and with regard to future reconstruction. She also confirmed Italy’s commitment to all diplomatic efforts to bring the Russian Federation’s aggression against Ukraine to an end. The President of the Council of Ministers said that she was proud of the great solidarity shown by the Italian people for the Ukrainian citizens who have been received in Italy. She then expressed her hope that the agreement on the export of grain from Ukrainian ports would be renewed, as this is crucial to avert a possible food crisis.

Phone call between President of the Council of Ministers Giorgia Meloni and NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg
The President of the Council of Ministers, Giorgia Meloni, had a telephone conversation today with NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg.
President Meloni underlined the essential role played by the Atlantic Alliance in guaranteeing the security and protecting the common values that characterize our western identity. She reaffirmed Italy’s full support for Ukraine against the Russian aggression and the importance, with a global approach, of strengthening NATO’s commitment in countering the different kinds of threats originating from all strategic directions, including the challenges stemming from the South. At the end of the call, President Meloni expressed her wish to meet soon, in person, with Secretary General Stoltenberg.

Venerdì 28 ottobre, alle ore 11.00, il Presidente del Consiglio dei Ministri Giorgia Meloni prende parte alla cerimonia celebrativa de “I Giorni della Ricerca” che si tiene al Palazzo del Quirinale alla presenza del Presidente della Repubblica. Sabato 29 ottobre, alle ore 11.30, il Presidente Meloni depone una corona d'alloro alla Tomba del Milite Ignoto presso l’Altare della Patria.
