The approval process gets underway: draft enabling law on taxation to be examined by the Council of Ministers tomorrow.
Following yesterday’s meeting with trade unions on the principles of the tax reform enabling law, representatives of trade associations and professional bodies were received at Palazzo Chigi today, who expressed a positive opinion regarding a comprehensive and complete reform, providing important and concrete contributions to discussions. 
Representing the Government, the discussions were attended by Minister of Economy and Finance Giancarlo Giorgetti, Deputy Minister Maurizio Leo and Undersecretary to the Presidency of the 

The President of the Council of Ministers, Giorgia Meloni, responded to the points raised by the Chamber of Deputies during today’s Question Time session.

Al via iter approvativo, domani il Ddl Delega all’esame del Consiglio dei Ministri Dopo il confronto di ieri con i sindacati sui principi della Delega per la riforma fiscale, oggi sono stati ricevuti a Palazzo Chigi i rappresentati delle Associazioni di categoria e degli Ordini professionali, che hanno espresso un parere positivo per una riforma organica e completa, fornendo importanti e concreti contributi al dibattito. Per il Governo hanno partecipato il Ministro dell’Economia, Giancarlo Giorgetti, il Vice Ministro, Maurizio Leo, e il Sottosegretario di Stato alla Presidenza del Consiglio, Alfredo Mantovano, che ha portato i saluti del Presidente del Consiglio, Giorgia Meloni. 

The fourth meeting of the coordination committee for the Jubilee of 2025 was held at Palazzo Chigi today, chaired by Undersecretary to the Presidency of the Council of Ministers Alfredo Mantovano. The Mayor of Rome and the Government’s Special Commissioner for the Jubilee 2025, Roberto Gualtieri, opened the meeting, providing a progress update on procurement procedures and project timelines, also in light of the recently introduced simplification regulations.
