We are establishing a national monitoring of waiting lists, accompanied by an effective system of controls. The President of the Council of Ministers, Giorgia Meloni, telephoned the President of the Republic, Sergio Mattarella, this morning to offer her most sincere birthday wishes, both personally and on behalf of the entire Government.

President Meloni once again conveyed to President Mattarella the esteem and gratitude felt by Institutions and citizens towards their Head of State, as guarantor of the Constitution and a symbol of national unity.

The President of the Council of Ministers, Giorgia Meloni, today received the President-elect of the European Council, António Costa, at Palazzo Chigi, who chose Rome as the first leg of his tour of European capitals in his new capacity.
