President Meloni meets with Henry Kissinger in Washington
On the occasion of her visit to Washington, President of the Council of Ministers Giorgia Meloni had a long meeting today with Henry Kissinger at Villa Firenze, the official residence of the Italian Ambassador.
A two-hour meeting with “one of the brightest minds and a point of reference in strategic policy and diplomacy”.
President Meloni commented: “My thanks go to Henry Kissinger for the precious time he dedicated to me. It was a privilege and an honour to talk about contemporary issues with him”.

Washington, il Presidente Meloni incontra Henry Kissinger
In occasione della visita a Washington del presidente del Consiglio, si è svolto a Villa Firenze, residenza dell’ambasciatrice d’Italia, un lungo incontro tra Giorgia Meloni e Henry Kissinger.
Due ore di colloquio con “una delle menti più lucide, punto di riferimento della politica strategica e della diplomazia”.
Il presidente Meloni ha commentato: “Ringrazio Kissinger per il prezioso tempo che mi ha dedicato, è stato un privilegio e un onore dialogare con lui sui temi della contemporaneità”.

PNRR, dichiarazione del Presidente Meloni
Sono molto soddisfatta della decisione di oggi della Commissione europea, che ha deliberato il pagamento della terza rata del PNRR e ha approvato le modifiche proposte dal Governo sulla quarta rata. Un grande risultato che consentirà all'Italia di ricevere i 35 miliardi di euro previsti per il 2023 e che è frutto dell'intenso lavoro portato avanti in questi mesi e dalla forte sinergia del Governo con la Commissione europea. E per questo ringrazio in modo particolare la presidente von der Leyen. Desidero ringraziare anche il Ministro Fitto e tutti i Ministeri che hanno consentito di centrare questo obiettivo. Continueremo a lavorare in questa direzione nell'interesse dei nostri cittadini, delle nostre famiglie e delle nostre imprese.

President Meloni in the United States
The President of the Council of Ministers, Giorgia Meloni, is visiting the United States of America on 27 and 28 July. Yesterday, she met with the leaders of the Senate political groups and, later, with the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Kevin McCarthy, at Capitol Hill. Following their meeting, President Meloni and Speaker McCarthy issued statements to the press.In the afternoon, President Meloni then met with the President of the United States of America, Joseph R. Biden, Jr., at the White House, after which she held a press conference at the Italian Embassy. Today, President Meloni visited Arlington National Cemetery, where she paid tribute at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.

Il Presidente Meloni negli Stati Uniti
Il Presidente del Consiglio, Giorgia Meloni, dal 27 al 28 luglio ha visitato gli Stati Uniti d'America. Nella prima giornata, a Capitol Hill, ha incontrato i leader dei gruppi politici del Senato e, successivamente, lo Speaker della Camera dei Rappresentanti, Kevin McCarthy con il quale ha rilasciato dichiarazioni alla stampa. Nel pomeriggio il Presidente Meloni ha incontrato il Presidente degli Stati Uniti d’America, Joseph R. Biden jr, alla Casa Bianca e ha tenuto una conferenza stampa presso la sede dell'Ambasciata d'Italia. Nella seconda giornata, la visita al Cimitero di Arlington con l'omaggio alla Tomba del Milite Ignoto.
