Il Presidente del Consiglio, Giorgia Meloni, ha tenuto un intervento alla cerimonia di apertura del Vertice delle Nazioni Unite sui Sistemi Alimentari che si tiene al Palazzo della FAO a Roma. Prima dell'inizio dei lavori, il Presidente ha incontrato il Presidente della Repubblica Federale di Somalia, Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, con il Vice Presidente della Repubblica del Kenya Rigathi Gachagua, il Primo Ministro della Repubblica di Gibuti Abdoulkader Kamil Mohamed e il Primo Ministro della Repubblica Federale Democratica di Etiopia Abiy Ahmed Ali.

International Conference on Development and Migration in Rome. Commitments and shared solutions for the Mediterranean and Africa
At the initiative of the Italian Government, the leaders of almost all states on the southern shore of the wider Mediterranean, in the Middle East and the Gulf, as well as EU Member States of first arrival and a number of partners from the Sahel and the Horn of Africa, together with the heads of European institutions and international financial institutions, met at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation in Rome today, to address emergencies and launch a shared development strategy. Following the working sessions, President of the Council of Ministers Giorgia Meloni held a press conference.

Statement by Palazzo Chigi on Odesa attacks
We are deeply hurt by the attacks in Odesa, the deaths of innocent people, the destruction of the Transfiguration Cathedral. Russian aggressors are demolishing granaries, depriving millions of starving people of food. They are devastating our European civilisation and its sacred symbols. A free people does not allow itself to be intimidated; barbarity will not prevail. With its unique expertise in restoration, Italy is ready to get involved with the reconstruction of Odesa’s cathedral and other treasures of Ukraine’s artistic heritage.

International Conference on Development and Migration
The International Conference on Development and Migration was held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation in Rome today. Following the welcome ceremony with President of the Council of Ministers Giorgia Meloni, the family photograph of conference participants was taken, after which opening addresses were delivered and the working sessions got underway.
Following the working sessions, President Meloni addressed journalists at a press point to illustrate the main points discussed at the conference.

Conferenza internazionale su Sviluppo e Migrazioni
Si è tenuta a Roma la Conferenza internazionale su Sviluppo e Migrazioni, presso il Ministero degli Affari Esteri e della Cooperazione Internazionale. Dopo la cerimonia di accoglienza con il Presidente del Consiglio, Giorgia Meloni, la foto di Famiglia con i partecipanti, gli interventi di apertura e le sessioni di lavoro. A margine alcuni incontri bilaterali e, al termine dei lavori, la conferenza stampa finale del Presidente Meloni.

Conferenza internazionale su sviluppo e migrazioni. Impegni e soluzioni condivise per il Mediterraneo e l’Africa
- Su iniziativa del Governo italiano, si sono riuniti a Roma, presso il Ministero degli Affari Esteri e della Cooperazione Internazionale, i leader di quasi tutti gli Stati della sponda Sud del Mediterraneo allargato, del Medio Oriente e del Golfo, gli Stati Ue di primo approdo e alcuni partner del Sahel e del Corno d’Africa, i vertici delle Istituzioni europee e delle Istituzioni finanziarie internazionali, per affrontare le emergenze e lanciare una strategia di sviluppo condivisa. Al termine dei lavori, la conferenza stampa del Presidente Meloni.
