President Meloni’s statement on International Day Against Homophobia, Transphobia and Biphobia
On the International Day against Homophobia, Transphobia and Biphobia, the Government reaffirms its commitment against all forms of discrimination, violence and intolerance. The protection and defence of each person’s dignity is enshrined in the Constitution and is a priority that must be pursued by all institutions, at all levels. The Government is pursuing this commitment with determination, also with regard to prevention and victim support, starting with the freeing up of the necessary resources to refinance anti-discrimination centres.

President Meloni attends 4th Council of Europe Summit
The President of the Council of Ministers, Giorgia Meloni, attended the fourth Summit of Heads of State and Government of the Council of Europe today, which is being held in Reykjavík, Iceland. Upon her arrival, she addressed journalists at a doorstep and went on to deliver a speech at the opening session of the Summit ‘United around Our Values’. President Meloni later participated in the roundtable ‘Countering new and emerging human rights challenges – the future is already here’.

Il Presidente del Consiglio, Giorgia Meloni, ha partecipato a Reykjavík, in Islanda, al IV Vertice dei Capi di Stato e di Governo del Consiglio d’Europa. Al suo arrivo ha tenuto un punto stampa e, a seguire, l'intervento alla sessione di apertura dei lavori del Vertice “United around Our Values”. Milano, il Presidente Meloni incontra Silvio Berlusconi
Il Presidente del Consiglio, Giorgia Meloni, è stata all’Ospedale San Raffaele di Milano dove ha incontrato per oltre un’ora il senatore e leader di Forza Italia, Silvio Berlusconi. Meloni e Berlusconi hanno parlato degli scenari futuri, delle prossime iniziative dell’esecutivo e della maggioranza. “Berlusconi è di ottimo umore, è in rapida ripresa, e nonostante il ricovero lavora incessantemente sui principali dossier”, commenta il presidente Meloni.
