Official visit to the People’s Republic of China
The President of the Council of Ministers, Giorgia Meloni, is on an official visit to the People’s Republic of China from 28 to 31 July.
On Sunday 28, President Meloni met with the Premier of the State Council of the People’s Republic of China, Li Qiang, and addressed the Italy-China Business Forum in Beijing, where she also attended the signing ceremony for agreements between Italy and China.

Visita ufficiale nella Repubblica Popolare Cinese
Il Presidente del Consiglio, Giorgia Meloni, dal 28 al 31 luglio è in visita ufficiale nella Repubblica Popolare Cinese.
Nella giornata di domenica 28, il Presidente Meloni ha incontrato il Primo Ministro del Consiglio di Stato della Repubblica Popolare Cinese, Li Qiang, ed ha tenuto un intervento al Forum imprenditoriale Italia-Cina di Pechino, dove ha presenziato alla cerimonia della firma degli accordi tra Italia e Cina.

President Meloni meets with President Xi Jinping
The President of the Council of Ministers, Giorgia Meloni, met in Beijing today with the President of the People’s Republic of China, Xi Jinping. The two leaders discussed the positive development of relations between Italy and China in the context of the 20-year anniversary of the Global Strategic Partnership, stressing the importance of balanced, mutually beneficial cooperation based on reciprocal trust. During the meeting, the main issues on the bilateral agenda were also discussed, from matters regarding the economy and trade to collaboration in the fields of science and culture.

Visita in Cina, incontro del Presidente Meloni con il Presidente Xi Jinping
Il Presidente del Consiglio, Giorgia Meloni, ha incontrato oggi a Pechino il Presidente della Repubblica Popolare Cinese, Xi Jinping. I due Leader hanno condiviso il positivo sviluppo delle relazioni fra Italia e Cina nel contesto del ventennale del Partenariato Strategico Globale, ponendo l'accento sull'importanza di una cooperazione equilibrata, mutualmente vantaggiosa e basata sulla reciproca fiducia. Nel corso dei colloqui sono stati discussi i principali temi del rapporto bilaterale, dalle questioni economico-commerciali alla collaborazione in ambito scientifico e culturale.

The President of the Council of Ministers, Giorgia Meloni, met with the Premier of the State Council of the People’s Republic of China, Li Qiang, in Beijing today.
The meeting focused on bilateral relations, in a year that marks two decades of the Global Strategic Partnership between Italy and China as well as the 700th anniversary of the death of Marco Polo.
