“Il Governo oggi ha tracciato la politica economica per i prossimi anni, una linea fatta di stabilità, credibilità e crescita. Rivediamo al rialzo con responsabilità le stime del Pil e proseguiamo il percorso di riduzione del debito pubblico.
Sono le carte con le quali l’Italia si presenta in Europa. Abbiamo, inoltre, deciso lo stato di emergenza sull’immigrazione per dare risposte più efficaci e tempestive alla gestione dei flussi”.

President Meloni’s statement on National Sea Day
Italy is both a continental and a maritime nation. It was born in, for and with the sea: geography has shaped our civilisation and made us natural platforms for the dissemination of culture, trade and logistics. Unfortunately, however, Italy has often forgotten this dual identity, perceiving itself as a “land without sea” and not being fully aware of how the sea can be a geostrategic, environmental, cultural and economic resource. Giving this asset central importance once again and making it a driver of development and wealth, in every respect, is a Government priority. We are reiterating this commitment once again today, on the occasion of our ‘National Sea Day’.

President Meloni’s statement following Council of Ministers meeting no. 28
“The Government has today outlined its economic policy for the coming years, a line of stability, credibility and growth. We have responsibly revised GDP estimates upwards and are continuing on the path of public debt reduction. These are the credentials with which Italy is presenting itself in Europe.
We have also decided to declare a state of emergency on immigration in order to provide more effective and timely responses for the management of flows”.

President Meloni’s call with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of Israel
The President of the Council of Ministers, Giorgia Meloni, received a telephone call today from the Prime Minister of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu, who wished to express his condolences for the death of Alessandro Parini in last Friday’s attack in Tel Aviv. President Meloni thanked him for the assistance provided by the Israeli Government and for the solidarity expressed by many Israeli citizens in the dramatic circumstances.

Il Presidente del Consiglio, Giorgia Meloni, ha ricevuto oggi una telefonata dal Primo Ministro di Israele, Benjamin Netanyahu, il quale ha voluto esprimere le proprie condoglianze per la morte di Alessandro Parini nell’attentato di venerdì scorso a Tel Aviv.

Giornata nazionale del mare, la dichiarazione del Presidente Meloni
L'Italia è una Nazione, allo stesso tempo, continentale e marittima. È nata nel, per e con il mare: la geografia ha plasmato la nostra civiltà e ci ha reso piattaforme naturali per la diffusione della cultura, i commerci e la logistica. Purtroppo, però, l'Italia ha spesso dimenticato questa sua duplice identità, si è percepita come una "Patria senza mare" e non è stata pienamente consapevole di quanto il mare possa essere una risorsa geostrategica, ambientale, culturale ed economica. Rimettere al centro questo asset e farne un vettore di sviluppo e di ricchezza, da ogni punto di vista, è una priorità del Governo. Un impegno che ribadiamo anche oggi in occasione della 'Giornata nazionale del mare'.

Morte di Alessandro Parini a Tel Aviv, il cordoglio del Presidente Meloni
Il Presidente del Consiglio, Giorgia Meloni, esprime profondo cordoglio per la morte di un nostro connazionale, Alessandro Parini, nell’attentato terroristico avvenuto in serata a Tel Aviv.
Il Presidente Meloni esprime vicinanza alla famiglia della vittima, ai feriti, e solidarietà allo Stato di Israele per il vile attentato che lo ha colpito.
Il Presidente del Consiglio e il governo sono in contatto con le autorità israeliane per seguire gli aggiornamenti e l’eventuale coinvolgimento nell’attacco di altri cittadini italiani.

President Meloni expresses condolences for the death of Alessandro Parini in Tel Aviv
The President of the Council of Ministers, Giorgia Meloni, expresses deep sorrow at the death of compatriot Alessandro Parini in this evening’s terrorist attack in Tel Aviv.
President Meloni expresses sympathy to the victim’s family and to all those injured, and solidarity with the State of Israel following the cowardly attack.
The President of the Council of Ministers and the Government are in contact with the Israeli authorities to follow updates and the possible involvement of other Italian citizens in the attack.

Relocation operations continue for Cutro shipwreck survivors
In accordance with the commitments made by the Government, relocation operations are ongoing for the survivors of the shipwreck that occurred in Cutro, in the province of Crotone, on the night of 25-26 February.
According to information gathered by the Ministry of the Interior, 76 people are requesting international protection: 18 have applied in Italy (15 Pakistani nationals, 2 Afghan nationals and 1 Iranian national) and are currently being housed in ‘Reception and Integration System’ (‘SAI’) centres; five unaccompanied foreign minors have been placed in facilities for children.
