Incontro del Presidente Meloni e del Ministro Giorgetti con il Direttore e il Segretario generale del MES
Il Presidente del Consiglio Giorgia Meloni, insieme al Ministro dell’Economia e delle Finanze Giancarlo Giorgetti, ha incontrato oggi a Palazzo Chigi il Direttore generale del Meccanismo europeo di stabilità, Pierre Gramegna, e il Segretario generale Nicola Giammarioli.

Statement by President of the Council of Ministers Giorgia Meloni on the Jubilee of 2025
“Since entering office, this Government has worked to sign the first Decree of the President of the Council of Ministers regarding the essential works that cannot be postponed for the organisation of the Catholic Church’s 2025 Jubilee. Rome and the whole of Italy are getting ready to celebrate this event, which is inextricably linked to the very identity of the Eternal City, capital of Christianity and home to the State of the Vatican City. There is a lot of work to be done and, in close collaboration with the Holy See and Roma Capitale, we will provide our full cooperation and commitment to ensure that the nation and its capital city are ready to host millions of pilgrims from all over the world and experience the historic Jubilee event”.

Undersecretary of State Mantovano presents the Decree initiating works for the Jubilee of 2025
Undersecretary of State to the Presidency of the Council of Ministers Alfredo Mantovano, together with the Mayor of Rome and Special Commissioner for the Jubilee 2025, Roberto Gualtieri, held a press conference today to illustrate the Decree of the President of the Council of Ministers that approves and initiates the essential works, which cannot be postponed, to enable the city of Rome to welcome pilgrims and tourists in view of the Catholic Church’s Jubilee in 2025.

"Questo Governo ha lavorato fin dal suo insediamento per la firma del primo Dpcm sulle opere essenziali e indifferibili per l’organizzazione del Giubileo della Chiesa Cattolica del 2025. Roma e l’Italia intera si preparano a celebrare un evento indissolubilmente legato all’identità stessa della Città Eterna, che è Capitale del Cristianesimo e che ospita lo Stato della Città del Vaticano. C’è molto lavoro da fare ma, in stretta sinergia con la Santa Sede e Roma Capitale, assicureremo tutta la nostra collaborazione e il nostro impegno per far in modo che la Capitale e la Nazione siano pronti ad ospitare milioni di pellegrini da tutto il mondo e vivere un evento storico com'è il Giubileo".

Il Presidente del Consiglio, Giorgia Meloni, è stata ricevuta oggi in Udienza, nel Palazzo Apostolico Vaticano, dal Santo Padre Francesco. A seguire, il Presidente del Consiglio ha incontrato il Segretario di Stato di Sua Santità, il Cardinale Pietro Parolin, accompagnato dal Segretario per i Rapporti con gli Stati e le Organizzazioni Internazionali, monsignor Paul Richard Gallagher.

The President of the Council of Ministers, Giorgia Meloni, met today with the Prime Minister of Japan, Fumio Kishida, at Palazzo Chigi. During the particularly cordial meeting, the two Heads of Government discussed the comprehensive bilateral agenda between Italy and Japan, including cooperation in the fields of politics, economics and trade, culture and security. They also had an in-depth exchange of views on the G7 work programme, in the context both of the Japanese Presidency (2023) and subsequent Italian Presidency (2024) of the Group and of the major global challenges.
