Vertice G7, incontro bilaterale Meloni - Kishida
Il Presidente del Consiglio, Giorgia Meloni, ha incontrato oggi a margine del Vertice G7 il Primo Ministro del Giappone, Fumio Kishida. A seguito dell’incontro in Giappone di inizio anno, il Presidente Meloni e il Primo Ministro Kishida hanno confermato il progressivo rafforzamento dei rapporti bilaterali. Un’intensa collaborazione trasversale fra le due Nazioni, che ha avuto oggi ulteriore manifestazione concreta con l’adozione di un Piano d’Azione bilaterale volto a definire gli ambiti prioritari di cooperazione per il periodo 2024-2027.

G7 Summit: President Meloni meets with the President of the United States of America, Joe Biden
The President of the Council of Ministers, Giorgia Meloni, met today with the President of the United States of America, Joe Biden, in the margins of the G7 Summit. The two Leaders discussed the major current issues at international level, focusing in particular on developments in Russia’s war of aggression against Ukraine and common efforts to provide Kyiv with support, including financial support, ahead of the upcoming NATO Summit in Washington.

Il Presidente del Consiglio Giorgia Meloni ha incontrato oggi, a margine dei lavori del Vertice G7, il Presidente degli Stati Uniti Joe Biden. I due Leader hanno discusso dei principali temi dell’attualità internazionale, facendo in particolare il punto sulla evoluzione della guerra di aggressione russa all’Ucraina e sugli sforzi comuni di sostegno a Kiev, anche finanziari, in vista del prossimo Vertice NATO di Washington.

Second day of the G7 Summit
The Summit of the G7 Heads of State and Government chaired by the President of the Council of Ministers, Giorgia Meloni, got underway yesterday in Italy’s Apulia Region. The working sessions ‘Migration’ and ‘Indo-Pacific and Economic Security’ were held earlier today, after which President Meloni welcomed His Holiness Pope Francis, the Heads of State and Government of the Outreach countries and representatives of the International Organisations invited to participate in the working session ‘Artificial Intelligence, Energy, Africa-Mediterranean’. At the end of today’s working sessions, the G7 Leaders adopted the Apulia G7 Leaders’ Communiqué.

Vertice G7, la seconda giornata
Si è aperto ieri in Puglia il Vertice dei Capi di Stato e di Governo dei Paesi G7 presieduto dal Presidente Meloni. Nel corso della seconda giornata si sono tenute le sessioni di lavoro su "Migrazioni", "Indo-Pacifico e sicurezza economica". A seguire, il Presidente Meloni ha accolto Sua Santità Papa Francesco, i Capi di Stato e di Governo dei Paesi outreach e i rappresentanti delle Organizzazioni internazionali invitati a partecipare alla sessione "Intelligenza Artificiale, Energia, Africa/Mediterraneo". Al termine dei lavori, i Leader dei Paesi G7 hanno adottato l'Apulia G7 Leaders’ Communiqué.

The President of the Council of Ministers of Italy and G7 President, Giorgia Meloni, and the President of the United States, Joseph R. Biden, met with the other Leaders of the G7 and Italian and U.S. private sector representing the financial, energy and digital/technology sectors on the sidelines of the 2024 G7 Leaders’ Summit on June 13th, in Borgo Egnazia, Italy.

First day of the G7 Summit
The Summit of the G7 Heads of State and Government chaired by the President of the Council of Ministers, Giorgia Meloni, got underway today at Borgo Egnazia, in Italy’s Apulia Region. On the first day of the Summit, the working sessions ‘Africa, Climate Change and Development’, ‘Middle East’ and ‘Ukraine’ were held. The working session on Ukraine was also attended by President Zelensky. A side event on the G7 Partnership for Global Infrastructure and Investment (PGII) was held later in the afternoon, followed by a flag ceremony and closing press statement by President Meloni. In the evening, the President of the Republic, Sergio Mattarella, received the G7 Leaders at the Swabian Castle of Brindisi for an official dinner.

Vertice G7, la prima giornata
Si è aperto oggi a Borgo Egnazia (BR) il Vertice dei Capi di Stato e di Governo dei Paesi G7 presieduto dal Presidente Meloni. Nel corso della prima giornata si sono tenute le sessioni di lavoro "Africa, cambiamento climatico e sviluppo", "Medio Oriente" e "Ucraina", a cui ha preso parte il Presidente Zelensky. I lavori si sono conclusi con il Side event on the G7 PGII e, a seguire, la cerimonia delle bandiere e le dichiarazioni alla stampa del Presidente Meloni. In serata, il Presidente della Repubblica, Sergio Mattarella, ha ricevuto i Leader G7 al Castello Svevo di Brindisi per la cena ufficiale.

Ten adopted children from Haiti arrive in Italy
The Italian Government has taken action to bring ten children from Haiti to Italy. The children have been adopted by Italian families but for security reasons linked to the serious ongoing situation in the Caribbean nation, marred by devastating criminality, they had been unable to leave their places of residence until now (nine were living in the capital Port-au-Prince and one in a small town approximately 200 km away).
