The President of the Council of Ministers, Giorgia Meloni, received the Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Thailand, Srettha Thavisin, at Palazzo Chigi today.
The meeting focused on strengthening the bilateral relationship between Italy and Thailand, with particular regard to the great opportunities for collaboration in strategic sectors such as infrastructure development, digitalisation and the energy transition. The two Heads of Government also agreed to boost cooperation in the areas of tourism and culture, and discussed Thailand’s aspiration to initiate the process to join the OECD, which Italy supports.
President Meloni accepted Prime Minister Thavisin’s invitation to visit Thailand.
