The President of the Council of Ministers, Giorgia Meloni, had a cordial meeting today with the President of Rwanda, Paul Kagame. President Meloni underlined her interest in deepening cooperation between the two nations, starting with the biofuel and innovation sectors. President Kagame expressed his appreciation for the paradigm shift the Italian Government has adopted regarding Africa, as also shown at European level.
The two leaders also agreed to jointly address the challenges and opportunities presented by migration, with a wide-ranging and cooperative approach. In this context, bilateral cooperation in the field of cyber security and technological innovation was discussed in closing.
