President Meloni meets with Prime Minister Starmer at European Political Community meeting

The President of the Council of Ministers, Giorgia Meloni, met today with the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, Keir Starmer, in the margins of the European Political Community meeting at Blenheim Palace.

The meeting provided an opportunity to deepen the exchange of views that began at the NATO Summit in Washington regarding cooperation in major crisis areas and on migration, with specific reference to the fight against human traffickers.

In closing, the two leaders agreed to continue their close coordination on all the most important issues on the international agenda and global challenges on the occasion of an upcoming visit to Rome by Prime Minister Starmer.
