The President of the Council of Ministers, Giorgia Meloni, had a bilateral meeting today with the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, Keir Starmer, in the margins of the NATO Summit in Washington.
The two leaders both expressed their intention to keep in close contact on all the major international issues, and to continue the fruitful exchange of views at the meeting of the European Political Community, which the United Kingdom will be hosting at Blenheim Palace on 18 July.
President Meloni and Prime Minister Starmer also discussed the broad scope of bilateral relations, reiterating their intention to boost action to revitalise the strategic partnership between the two nations in all areas of mutual interest, including cooperation in the fight against irregular migration.
