The President of the Council of Ministers, Giorgia Meloni, had a telephone conversation today with the President of the Republic of Türkiye, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.
The President of the Council of Ministers congratulated President Erdoğan once again on his re-election as President of the Republic.
The close bilateral ties were emphasised during the call. Both leaders expressed the strong will to continue working as allies for common security and to boost the already close partnership and cooperation at regional, European and multilateral level.
The hope was expressed that they would soon have another opportunity to meet.
