Following yesterday’s calls ahead of the special European Council meeting on 9-10 February, the President of the Council of Ministers, Giorgia Meloni, had a telephone conversation today with the President of the Government of Spain, Pedro Sánchez.
The exchange of views focused on comprehensive European support for Ukraine, EU solutions to support the competitiveness of enterprises and finally having European management of migration flows, centred on the external dimension and border control.
