Statement by President Meloni on the attack against the Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico

I was deeply upset to learn the news of the cowardly attack on the Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico.
All my thoughts are with him, his family and our friends, the Slovak people.
Also on behalf of the Italian Government, I wish to condemn in the strongest possible terms all forms of violence and attacks against the core principles of democracy and freedom.
