Telephone conversation with the Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Norway

The President of the Council of Ministers, Giorgia Meloni, had a telephone conversation today with the Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Norway, Jonas Gahr Støre. 

The two leaders had an in-depth exchange on prospects for bilateral cooperation, which is already on a very positive path, with particular reference to energy, innovation, critical raw materials, defence collaboration and supporting reciprocal investments.

The conversation also focused on the shared opportunity to give further impetus both to bilateral dialogue on major international policy issues and to cooperation in the Arctic, especially scientific cooperation, also in view of Norway’s rotating Chairship of the Arctic Council.
