Si è svolto nella sede del Municipio di Cutro (KR) il Consiglio dei Ministri. Al termine della riunione, il Presidente Meloni con i Vice Presidenti e Ministri Tajani e Salvini, i Ministri Piantedosi, Nordio, Lollobrigida e il Sottosegretario Mantovano, ha illustrato in conferenza stampa il decreto-legge in materia di flussi di ingresso legale dei lavoratori stranieri e di prevenzione e contrasto all'immigrazione irregolare.
Il Presidente del Consiglio, Giorgia Meloni, inviterà nelle prossime ore i familiari delle vittime della tragedia di Cutro a Palazzo Chigi.

“I gladly accepted the invitation from the national president of ANCI [National Association of Italian Municipalities], Antonio Decaro, to hold discussions with the mayors of Italy’s Metropolitan Cities, following the positive opinion expressed by the ‘Regions-Provinces-Municipalities Unified Conference’. It really was a fruitful meeting: mayors are among the most important recipients of NRRP (‘National Recovery and Resilience Plan’) funding. I consider their requests legitimate, with simplification being the real key in implementing the NRRP. The cooperation we have begun and the meetings we have already had are valuable, which is why I have assured the mayors that these meetings will be repeated in future, with the mutual aim of developing a strategic synergy in the interest of the country” stated the Minister for European Affairs, Southern Italy, Cohesion Policy and the NRRP, Raffaele Fitto.
