President Meloni in Libya
Following their meeting, the President of the Council of Ministers, Giorgia Meloni, and the Prime Minister of the Libyan Government of National Unity, Abdel Hamid al-Dabaiba, issued statements to the press.

President Meloni in Libya
President Meloni and Ministers Tajani and Piantedosi travelled to Tripoli, Libya, today, for an Italian Government mission in the North African country. During the visit, President Meloni met with the Prime Minister of the Libyan Government of National Unity, Abdel Hamid al-Dabaiba, with whom she issued statements to the press. President Meloni later met with the President of the Presidential Council of the State of Libya, Mohammed Yunis Ahmed Al-Menfi.

Statement by President of the Council of Ministers Giorgia Meloni
“I have expressed mine and the Italian Government’s solidarity with the First Counsellor at the Italian Embassy in Berlin, Luigi Estero, following the attack that caused his car to catch fire in the German capital. This episode is in addition to the acts of vandalism that have targeted our Consulate General in Barcelona. The Government is closely following these new cases of violence against our officials and diplomatic representations with concern”.

Il Sottosegretario alla Presidenza Alfredo Mantovano, ha partecipato oggi a Palazzo Chigi alla seconda seduta plenaria del nuovo Comitato Nazionale per la Bioetica presieduto dal professor Angelo Luigi Vescovi.

Seconda riunione del Comitato Nazionale per la Bioetica. Approvata la costituzione dei gruppi di lavoro
Si è tenuta oggi a Palazzo Chigi la seconda seduta plenaria del nuovo Comitato Nazionale per la Bioetica presieduto dal professor Vescovi. Ad aprire il tavolo l'intervento del Sottosegretario Mantovano, che ha portato i saluti e i ringraziamenti del Presidente Meloni e ha ribadito che il Governo attribuisce al CNB una particolare centralità. Il Comitato ha approvato all'unanimità la costituzione dei gruppi di lavoro sui seguenti temi: fine vita, gestazione per altri, psichiatria, equità di accesso alle cure, tecnologie emergenti e alfabetizzazione sanitaria.

Prima riunione plenaria del nuovo Comitato Nazionale per la Bioetica
Si è svolta oggi a Palazzo Chigi la prima riunione plenaria del nuovo Comitato Nazionale per la Bioetica, nominato dal Presidente del Consiglio Giorgia Meloni con DPCM del 6 dicembre 2022. Il Comitato, sotto la presidenza del professor Angelo Luigi Vescovi, ha approvato all'unanimità il calendario delle sedute plenarie del 2023.

First plenary meeting of the new Italian Committee for Bioethics
The first plenary meeting of the new Italian Committee for Bioethics was held at Palazzo Chigi today. The Committee was appointed on 6 December 2022 by decree of the President of the Council of Ministers, Giorgia Meloni.
The Committee, chaired by Professor Angelo Luigi Vescovi, unanimously approved the schedule of plenary meetings for 2023.
