President Meloni in India for the G20 Summit

The President of the Council of Ministers, Giorgia Meloni, attended the G20 Summit of Heads of State and Government in New Delhi on 9 and 10 September. 
On 8 September, President Meloni met with the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, Rishi Sunak.
On Saturday, after attending the first plenary session, she took part in the meeting between European Union countries and African Union countries and, later, in the second plenary session. President Meloni then addressed the Partnership for Global Infrastructure and Investment and India-Middle East-Europe Economic Corridor event and the launch of the Global Biofuels Alliance. In the margins of the Summit, President Meloni had bilateral meetings with the Prime Minister of the People’s Republic of China, Li Qiang, and with the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi.
Today, before attending the third and final working session, the G20 leaders paid tribute at the Raj Ghat memorial to Mahatma Gandhi. President Meloni then met with the President of the Republic of Indonesia, Joko Widodo, and with the President of the Republic of Korea, Yoon Suk Yeol, and later held a press conference.
