President Meloni expresses satisfaction with CIPESS allocation for schools in L’Aquila
The President of the Council of Ministers, Giorgia Meloni, has expressed “great satisfaction” with the decision approved by yesterday’s CIPESS meeting [Interministerial Committee for Economic Planning and Sustainable Development] to allocate EUR 50 million for work on school buildings in the Municipality of L’Aquila and in other towns that were affected by the earthquake in 2009.

President Meloni’s call with President Zelensky
The President of the Council of Ministers, Giorgia Meloni, had a telephone conversation today with the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky. President Zelensky expressed his appreciation for the forthcoming conference on Ukraine’s reconstruction to be held in Rome on 26 April, an important opportunity to strengthen relations between Italian companies and Ukraine.

Cabina di Regia sul PNRR, riunione a Palazzo Chigi
Verifica sull’effettivo raggiungimento degli obiettivi rendicontati ai fini della terza rata; stato dell’arte e attuazione di milestone e target in scadenza nel primo semestre 2023, anche con riferimento agli adempimenti in capo ai soggetti attuatori; avanzamenti sul capitolo REPowerEU. Sono questi i punti affrontati nel corso della Cabina di Regia per il Piano Nazionale di Ripresa e Resilienza (PNRR) che si è svolta a Palazzo Chigi, presieduta dal Ministro per gli Affari europei, il sud, le politiche di coesione e il PNNR, Raffaele Fitto e che ha visto coinvolti tutti i ministri competenti.

Palazzo Chigi lit up in yellow to raise awareness of endometriosis
The Presidency of the Council of Ministers supports the ‘Facciamo Luce sull’Endometriosi’ [‘Let’s shine a light on endometriosis’] initiative. Palazzo Chigi’s main façade was lit up in yellow, the symbolic colour for the disease, from 7pm until 11.30pm on Tuesday 28 March 2023, as requested by A.L.I.C.E. ODV – Endomarch Team Italy [Italian endometriosis awareness-raising association].

Press conference following Council of Ministers meeting no. 26
Council of Ministers meeting no. 26 was held at Palazzo Chigi today. Following the meeting, Minister of Health Orazio Schillaci and Minister of Agriculture, Food Sovereignty and Forestry Francesco Lollobrigida held a press conference to illustrate the measures approved.
