UNGA: President Meloni meets with the Prime Minister of Iraq
The President of the Council of Ministers, Giorgia Meloni, met with the Prime Minister of Iraq, Mohammed Al Sudani, in New York today. The two leaders discussed bilateral relations, reaffirming the common will to build a strategic partnership between the two nations in all areas, from political to economic collaboration, from security to cultural cooperation.

Il Presidente del Consiglio, Giorgia Meloni, ha incontrato oggi a New York a margine dei lavori dell’Assemblea Generale dell’Onu, il Presidente della Repubblica argentina, Javier Milei. Il colloquio si è concentrato sulla comune volontà di rafforzare le relazioni bilaterali e in quest’ottica i due Leader hanno concordato di lavorare per verificare la possibilità di una visita in Argentina a margine del G20 del Brasile del prossimo novembre.

President Meloni at 79th United Nations General Assembly
The President of the Council of Ministers, Giorgia Meloni, was in New York from 22 to 24 September to attend the 79th United Nations General Assembly. Yesterday, President Meloni delivered a speech at the UN Summit of the Future and, earlier today, she addressed journalists at a press point. In the margins of the General Assembly, President Meloni had bilateral meetings with the Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology of the United Arab Emirates, the Crown Prince of Kuwait, the President of Türkiye, the Prime Minister of Iraq and the President of the Argentine Republic.

UNGA: President Meloni meets with Head of the Interim Government of Bangladesh
In the margins of the high-level week of the 79th United Nations General Assembly, the President of the Council of Ministers, Giorgia Meloni, met today with the Head of the Interim Government of Bangladesh, Prof. Muhammad Yunus. During the meeting, President Meloni expressed Italy’s support for the reform process in Bangladesh and the main goal of improving the population’s social and economic conditions.

The President of the Council of Ministers, Giorgia Meloni, met today with the President of Türkiye, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, in the margins of the high-level week of the 79th United Nations General Assembly. In addition to the increasingly difficult situation in the Middle East, the meeting also focused on the common commitment to support Ukraine’s territorial integrity and pursue a just and lasting peace.
