A margine della settimana di alto di livello della 79ma Assemblea Generale delle Nazioni Unite, il Presidente del Consiglio, Giorgia Meloni, ha incontrato l’Inviato Speciale per il Clima e Ministro dell’Industria degli Emirati Arabi Uniti, Sultan Al Jaber.

UNGA: President Meloni meets with UAE Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology
In the margins of the high-level week of the 79th United Nations General Assembly, the President of the Council of Ministers, Giorgia Meloni, met today with the Special Envoy for Climate Change and Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology of the United Arab Emirates, Sultan Al Jaber. The meeting focused on opportunities for investment and economic and technological collaboration between Italy and the United Arab Emirates, with particular regard to the renewables sector and interconnection projects. The meeting also provided an opportunity to further discuss possible joint initiatives in Africa, as part of the Mattei Plan and the Rome Process on migration and development, with a focus on renewable energy, also by involving the respective private sectors active on the African continent.

UNGA, il Presidente Meloni incontra il Ministro dell’Industria degli Emirati Arabi Uniti
A margine della settimana di alto di livello della 79ma Assemblea Generale delle Nazioni Unite, il Presidente del Consiglio, Giorgia Meloni, ha incontrato l’Inviato Speciale per il Clima e Ministro dell’Industria degli Emirati Arabi Uniti, Sultan Al Jaber. Al centro del colloquio, le opportunità di investimento e di collaborazione economica e tecnologica tra Italia e Emirati Arabi Uniti, con particolare riguardo al settore delle rinnovabili e ai progetti di interconnessione. L'incontro ha anche permesso di approfondire le discussioni su possibili iniziative comuni in Africa, nel quadro del Piano Mattei e del Processo di Roma su migrazioni e sviluppo, con un focus sulle energie rinnovabili anche attraverso il coinvolgimento dei rispettivi settori privati attivi nel continente africano.
