President Meloni meets with Prime Minister of Lebanon
The President of the Council of Ministers, Giorgia Meloni, had a very cordial meeting today with the Prime Minister of the Lebanese Republic, Najib Mikati. During the meeting, President Meloni reaffirmed Italy’s willingness to continue contributing to Lebanon’s security and stability at this delicate juncture in the country’s history.

President Meloni meets with survivors and relatives of the victims of the tragedy in Cutro
President of the Council of Ministers Giorgia Meloni met today at Palazzo Chigi with survivors and relatives of the victims of the tragedy in Cutro. They were accompanied by interpreters to allow for translation to and from their mother tongues. The Government was also represented at the meeting by Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Antonio Tajani and Undersecretary to the Presidency of the Council of Ministers Alfredo Mantovano. Both personally and on behalf of the entire Government, President Meloni expressed sympathy to those present and assured the utmost commitment to satisfying their requests.

Incontro del Presidente Meloni con il Primo Ministro della Repubblica Libanese
Il Presidente del Consiglio, Giorgia Meloni, ha avuto un incontro molto cordiale con il Primo Ministro della Repubblica libanese Najib Mikati. Nel corso dell’incontro il Presidente Meloni ha riaffermato la volontà dell’Italia di continuare a contribuire alla sicurezza e alla stabilità del Libano in questo delicato frangente della storia nazionale.

Incontro del Presidente Meloni con superstiti e parenti delle vittime della tragedia di Cutro
Si è tenuto a Palazzo Chigi l’incontro del Presidente del Consiglio Giorgia Meloni con alcuni parenti delle vittime e superstiti della tragedia di Cutro, accompagnati da mediatori che hanno consentito la traduzione da e verso le lingue madri, presenti per il Governo il ministro degli Affari Esteri e della Cooperazione Internazionale Antonio Tajani e il Sottosegretario alla Presidenza del Consiglio Alfredo Mantovano. Il Presidente Meloni ha rappresentato ai presenti la vicinanza propria personale e del Governo tutto, e assicurato il massimo impegno per soddisfarne le richieste.

President Meloni’s statement on approval of tax reform enabling law
Approval of the tax reform enabling law is a real turning point for Italy. This is a structural and comprehensive landmark reform: a revolution we have awaited for 50 years, with important innovations for citizens, families and businesses. With the tax reform, we are outlining a new idea of Italy that is close to taxpayers’ needs and attractive for companies. The reform contains an overall and programmatic vision that rewards taxpayers’ loyalty and responsibility, laying the foundations for a new trust-based relationship with the tax authorities. Thanks to the tax system reform, we are lowering taxes, increasing growth and equity and fostering employment and investment.

Palazzo Chigi’s main façade was lit up in lilac this evening to mark the Presidency of the Council of Ministers’ support for the National Day against Eating Disorders, as part of the ‘Coloriamoci di lilla’ initiative.

Tax reform: Government meets with trade associations and professional bodies
The approval process gets underway: draft enabling law on taxation to be examined by the Council of Ministers tomorrow.
Following yesterday’s meeting with trade unions on the principles of the tax reform enabling law, representatives of trade associations and professional bodies were received at Palazzo Chigi today, who expressed a positive opinion regarding a comprehensive and complete reform, providing important and concrete contributions to discussions.

Delega fiscale, il Governo incontra le Associazioni di categoria e gli Ordini professionali
Al via iter approvativo, domani il Ddl Delega all’esame del Consiglio dei Ministri Dopo il confronto di ieri con i sindacati sui principi della Delega per la riforma fiscale, oggi sono stati ricevuti a Palazzo Chigi i rappresentati delle Associazioni di categoria e degli Ordini professionali, che hanno espresso un parere positivo per una riforma organica e completa, fornendo importanti e concreti contributi al dibattito. Per il Governo hanno partecipato il Ministro dell’Economia, Giancarlo Giorgetti, il Vice Ministro, Maurizio Leo, e il Sottosegretario di Stato alla Presidenza del Consiglio, Alfredo Mantovano, che ha portato i saluti del Presidente del Consiglio, Giorgia Meloni.

Dalle ore 19 di oggi sino alle ore 6 del 16 marzo la facciata principale di Palazzo Chigi si illuminerà di lilla come segno dell'adesione della Presidenza del Consiglio dei Ministri alla Giornata contro i disturbi dell'alimentazione, nell'ambito dell'iniziativa "Coloriamoci di lilla".
