President Meloni in Zagreb
The President of the Council of Ministers, Giorgia Meloni, met with the Prime Minister of the Republic of Croatia, Andrej Plenković, at the seat of Government in Zagreb this morning. Following their meeting, the two leaders issued statements to the press. At the end of today’s visit, President Meloni addressed journalists at a press point. Yesterday evening, together with Prime Minister Plenković, Prime Minister Morawiecki of the Republic of Poland, and Prime Minister Abela of the Republic of Malta, President Meloni attended the working dinner organised by the President of the European Council, Charles Michel, as part of the series of small group discussions on the EU Strategic Agenda for 2024-2029.

A steering committee meeting for the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (NRRP) was held at Palazzo Chigi today, chaired by the Minister for European Affairs, Southern Italy, Cohesion Policy and the NRRP, Raffaele Fitto. The meeting, which was also attended by Minister of University and Research Anna Maria Bernini and Undersecretary of State to the Ministry of Economy and Finance Sandra Savino, confirmed the revision proposals that have already been sent to the European Commission, aimed at identifying implementation solutions to ensure the final target for university housing is reached.
