President Meloni meets with Cardinal Stanisław Dziwisz
The President of the Council of Ministers, Giorgia Meloni, received Cardinal Stanisław Dziwisz, Archbishop emeritus of Krakow, at Palazzo Chigi today. During their meeting, President Meloni and Cardinal Dziwisz shared in remembering Pope John Paul II, ten years on from his canonisation; Cardinal Dziwisz was his personal secretary throughout his Pontificate. Media accreditation information for the G7 Summit
From Thursday 13th to Saturday 15th June 2024, the meeting of G7 Heads of State and Government will be held at Borgo Egnazia (BR), in Apulia, chaired by the President of the Council of Ministers, Giorgia Meloni. Early accreditation is mandatory for all media representatives interested in attending.

Meeting with the Secretary of Commerce of the United States of America
The President of the Council of Ministers, Giorgia Meloni, received the Secretary of Commerce of the United States of America, Gina Raimondo, at Palazzo Chigi today.The meeting focused on discussing respective strategies and initiatives in technological and industrial areas of priority interest, starting with semiconductors and applications of artificial intelligence. Opportunities to strengthen mutual investments were also discussed. Lastly, the meeting provided an opportunity for an update on the main goals of the Italian G7 Presidency.

CIPESS meeting of 23 April 2024
A meeting of the Interministerial Committee for Economic Planning and Sustainable Development (CIPESS) was held today, chaired by the President of the Council of Ministers, Giorgia Meloni, and with the CIPESS Secretary, Undersecretary of State Alessandro Morelli, in attendance. The meeting approved a number of proposals regarding cohesion policy and infrastructure.
